Description

Creepy Spider Deviled Eggs are the perfect spooky treat for Halloween gatherings! These delightful, hard-boiled eggs feature a creamy, zesty filling and an eye-catching spider design made from black olives. Easy to prepare and fun to serve, they’ll have guests both giggling and gasping. Enjoy this frightfully delicious recipe that will steal the show at your next party!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 6 black olives (pitted and sliced)
  • Optional: capers or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil the Eggs: Place eggs in a saucepan and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then turn off the heat and let sit for 12 minutes.
  2. Cool and Peel: Transfer eggs to an ice bath for 10 minutes. Peel under running water for easier shell removal.
  3. Create the Filling: Halve each egg lengthwise and scoop yolks into a bowl. Mix yolks with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Assemble Spiders: Spoon or pipe yolk mixture back into egg whites. Top with olive slices as spider bodies and smaller pieces as legs.
  5. Chill: Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to enhance flavors.
