  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 ½ cups seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 lb fresh mozzarella cheese, cut into sticks

Instructions

  1. Gather three bowls: one for flour, one for beaten eggs, and one for breadcrumbs mixed with Italian seasoning.
  2. Cut mozzarella into sticks about 1 inch thick and lay on parchment paper.
  3. Dredge each stick in flour, dip into beaten eggs, then coat with seasoned breadcrumbs.
  4. Chill the breaded sticks in the freezer for 30 minutes to firm up.
  5. Heat oil in a deep skillet to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Fry cheese sticks in batches until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.
