Description

Maple Walnut Sweet Potatoes are a warm, sweet side dish that blend tender roasted sweet potatoes with rich maple syrup and crunchy walnuts, perfect for any meal or festive gathering.


Ingredients

  • 2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts, toasted
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking dish with butter.
  2. In a bowl, combine the cubed sweet potatoes with melted butter, maple syrup, cinnamon, salt, and pepper. Toss until evenly coated.
  3. Spread the mixture in the prepared baking dish and bake for 25 minutes or until tender and caramelized.
  4. While the sweet potatoes roast, toast the walnuts in a dry skillet over medium heat for 3-5 minutes.
