- 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice onions and mince garlic.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, sear the roast on all sides until browned (3-4 minutes per side).
- Remove the roast; add onions and garlic to the skillet, cooking until softened (about 5 minutes).
- Stir in the cranberry sauce and balsamic vinegar; simmer briefly.
- Return the beef to the skillet, adding broth and herbs; coat well.
- Cover tightly and roast in the oven for 2-3 hours until fork-tender.
