  • 1 cup heavy cream (chilled)
  • ½ cup powdered sugar (sifted)

Instructions

  3. In another bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy (about 3-4 minutes).
  4. Beat in eggs one at a time followed by milk until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the dry ingredients and then the fresh berries.
  6. Divide the batter between prepared pans and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Cool in pans for 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
  8. Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
  9. Assemble by layering cake with Chantilly cream and additional berries.
