  • ¾ cup brown sugar, packed

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup dried cherries, chopped if large
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  3. In another bowl, cream butter with both sugars until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Gradually combine dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just mixed.
  6. Fold in dried cherries and chocolate chips.
  7. Drop tablespoon-sized dough balls onto prepared sheets with space between each.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set but centers remain soft. Cool slightly before transferring to wire racks.
