  • 1 package (8 oz) store-bought croissant dough
  • 1/2 cup almond paste
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds (lightly toasted)
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar (for dusting)
  • 1 egg + 1 tbsp milk (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the croissant dough on a floured surface and cut into triangles.
  3. Place about 1 tablespoon of almond paste at the wide end of each triangle, topping with a few sliced almonds.
  4. Roll the triangles tightly from wide to pointy end and place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  5. Whisk together egg and milk; brush over each croissant bite.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and puffed up.
  7. Dust with powdered sugar before serving warm or at room temperature.
