  • 1 lb ziti pasta
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook ziti in boiling salted water until al dente (8-10 minutes), then drain.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, warm olive oil. Sauté garlic until fragrant, then add spinach until wilted.
  3. In a bowl, mix ricotta with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir in the sautéed spinach and garlic.
  4. Combine drained ziti with marinara sauce in the pot until evenly coated.
  5. In a greased baking dish, layer half of the ziti mixture followed by half of the ricotta mixture and half of the mozzarella. Repeat layers.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil, sprinkle remaining mozzarella and Parmesan on top, then bake uncovered for an additional 15-20 minutes until bubbly.
