- 1 lb ziti pasta
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- 15 oz ricotta cheese
- 3 cups marinara sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook ziti in boiling salted water until al dente (8-10 minutes), then drain.
- In a skillet over medium heat, warm olive oil. Sauté garlic until fragrant, then add spinach until wilted.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir in the sautéed spinach and garlic.
- Combine drained ziti with marinara sauce in the pot until evenly coated.
- In a greased baking dish, layer half of the ziti mixture followed by half of the ricotta mixture and half of the mozzarella. Repeat layers.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil, sprinkle remaining mozzarella and Parmesan on top, then bake uncovered for an additional 15-20 minutes until bubbly.
