  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by chopping the garlic and measuring out the lemon juice.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then sear them until golden brown, about 6-7 minutes per side.
  3. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside. In the same pan, sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add lemon juice and heavy cream to the skillet, stirring to combine while scraping up any browned bits from the bottom.
  5. Gradually stir in shredded Parmesan until melted and smooth; season with additional salt and pepper.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet, letting it simmer in the sauce on low heat for about 5 minutes.
  7. Serve hot over pasta or rice, garnished with fresh parsley.
