  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Mix in the pumpkin puree, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Gradually add this mixture to the pumpkin mixture until just combined.
  5. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese with powdered sugar until creamy.
  6. On lined baking sheets, drop dollops of dough and place a teaspoon of cream cheese filling on top before covering with another dough ball.
