  • 2 lbs baby back pork ribs
  • 1 cup pure pomegranate juice
  • 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp honey

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Pat the pork ribs dry with paper towels and remove excess fat.
  3. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, garlic powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt. Rub this mixture generously over the ribs.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together pomegranate juice, balsamic vinegar, and honey to create the glaze.
  5. Place seasoned ribs on a foil-lined baking sheet and cover tightly with foil. Bake for about 2.5 hours until tender.
  6. Uncover ribs, brush with pomegranate glaze, and increase oven temperature to 400°F (200°C). Roast uncovered for 15 minutes until caramelized.
