  • 1 lb fresh asparagus
  • 8 oz thinly sliced prosciutto
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ tsp freshly cracked black pepper
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Rinse asparagus under cold water and pat dry. Trim about an inch off the bottom of each spear.
  3. Wrap each asparagus spear with a slice of prosciutto.
  4. Arrange wrapped asparagus on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with black pepper.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the prosciutto is golden brown and crispy.
  6. Let cool slightly before serving on a platter.
