- 1 cup coarse ground dark roast coffee
- 4 cups cold water
- 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup (adjust to taste)
- 1 pinch sea salt (to taste)
- 1/2 cup cream or milk (dairy or non-dairy)
Instructions
- In a large jar or pitcher, combine the coarse ground coffee and cold water. Stir well to submerge all coffee grounds. Cover and let steep at room temperature for 12-24 hours.
- After steeping, strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth into another container to separate the coffee grounds.
- Add pure maple syrup to the strained cold brew concentrate and stir until dissolved.
- Sprinkle in a pinch of sea salt and mix again.
