  • 1 can (28 oz) whole peeled tomatoes (preferably San Marzano)
  • 2 cups low-sodium beef broth
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 cup dry red wine

Instructions

  1. Sear the Meat: Heat olive oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Season the chuck roast with salt and pepper. Brown on all sides (about 4-5 minutes per side).
