  • 1 cup diced Granny Smith apples
  • 1 medium yellow onion, diced
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (toasted)

  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Rinse cranberries under cold water. Dice apples and onion.
  2. In a medium saucepan, heat a splash of olive oil over medium heat; sauté onions until translucent (about 5 minutes).
  3. Add cranberries and diced apples; stir gently until cranberries start to pop.
  4. Mix in brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, pepper, and apple cider vinegar; simmer for 15-20 minutes until thickened.
  5. Stir in toasted walnuts during the last few minutes.
  6. Remove from heat, allow cooling, then refrigerate until serving.
