Description

Earl Grey Panna Cotta is a luxurious dessert that combines the silky creaminess of panna cotta with the aromatic essence of Earl Grey tea. This elegant treat offers a delightful experience, with bergamot infusing each creamy bite. Perfect for impressing guests or indulging in a personal moment of bliss, this recipe is both simple and sophisticated, making it an ideal choice for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp unflavored gelatin powder
  • 2 Earl Grey tea bags
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Fresh berries (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Bloom the gelatin by sprinkling it over 2 tablespoons of cold water in a small bowl; set aside.
  2. In a saucepan, combine heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, and Earl Grey tea bags. Heat over low until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is warm but not boiling.
  3. Remove from heat, discard tea bags, and stir in bloomed gelatin until fully dissolved.
  4. Pour the mixture into individual serving cups or molds and tap gently to remove air bubbles.
  5. Refrigerate for at least four hours or overnight to set.
  6. To serve, run a knife around the edges if needed, invert onto plates, and garnish with fresh berries.
