  • Zest of 1 organic orange
  • 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Instructions

  1. Rinse cranberries under cold water and discard any floating ones.
  2. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine cranberries and honey or maple syrup. Stir until cranberries pop and release juices (5-7 minutes).
  3. Stir in orange zest, juice, and cinnamon; simmer for another 10 minutes.
  4. If desired, add chopped pecans for crunch.
  5. Remove from heat and let cool completely before serving. Chill in the fridge to deepen flavors.
