- 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- Fresh pomegranate seeds (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C). Remove the silvery membrane from the ribs.
- In a bowl, mix pomegranate juice, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and apple cider vinegar until it resembles thick syrup.
- Place ribs on a baking sheet lined with foil. Generously coat both sides with the glaze.
- Cover tightly with another piece of foil and bake for about 2 hours until tender.
- Remove the top foil and bake for an additional 30 minutes to caramelize the glaze.
- Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh pomegranate seeds if desired.
