  • 2 lbs baby back ribs
  • 1 cup pomegranate juice (100% pure)
  • 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • Fresh pomegranate seeds (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C). Remove the silvery membrane from the ribs.
  2. In a bowl, mix pomegranate juice, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and apple cider vinegar until it resembles thick syrup.
  3. Place ribs on a baking sheet lined with foil. Generously coat both sides with the glaze.
  4. Cover tightly with another piece of foil and bake for about 2 hours until tender.
  5. Remove the top foil and bake for an additional 30 minutes to caramelize the glaze.
  6. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh pomegranate seeds if desired.
