- 1 round crusty bread loaf
- 1 cup fresh seafood mix (shrimp, crab, or lobster)
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp dill or Old Bay seasoning
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Cut off the top of the bread loaf and hollow out the inside, leaving about an inch of bread on each side.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 2 minutes).
- Stir in seafood mix and cream cheese until well combined. Add lemon juice, green onions, seasoning, salt, and pepper; mix thoroughly.
- Generously fill the hollowed bread with the seafood mixture.
- Place on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown on top and bubbly inside.
- Allow to cool slightly before slicing wedges for serving.
