  • 2 large fresh tangerines (juiced)
  • 1 cup pitted green olives
  • 1 large onion (diced)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 inch fresh ginger (grated)
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 tsp cumin powder
  • 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Fresh cilantro or parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a heavy-bottomed pan over medium heat. Add diced onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
