  • ½ cup canned pumpkin puree
  • ½ cup granulated sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 2 tbsp milk (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix pumpkin puree, egg, milk, and vanilla until combined.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
  5. Pipe the batter into the donut pan, filling each cavity about ¾ full.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool briefly in the pan before transferring to a wire rack.
  7. For the glaze, mix powdered sugar with milk until smooth and drizzle over cooled donuts.
